Shoalhaven Causeway Improvement Works

Shoalhaven Council engaged Kilmac Civil to carry out works to extend the existing concrete causeway, provide bank protection within the creek to minimise further erosion, and remove a large mound of accumulated material in the creek that is affecting the function of the causeway.

This was a complex scope that required consultation with the Council's Environmental Consultant and the Department of Primary Industries as there were many Environmental Aspects to take into account such as dredging and reclamation in association with the banks protection, creek realignment and waterway as well as the flora and fauna in the area.
